Vanishing Landscape

Scene of the changing landscape of Klang
after an almost complete demolition
of a prominent 150 meters high chimney
which was build 40 years ago.

  3. We've got big unused chimneys that knocked down every once in a while here.

  4. Too bad they couldn't find a way to repurpose that beautiful chimney. Looks like some other structures were knocked down as well.

  5. Nothing is forever, and it's a good practice to take pictures of something right when it interests you. Now, you have an interesting before and after.

  7. Quite a sight to see the landscape change so dramatically after that chimney came down. Hope no new development planned for the area.

  8. Too bad about the landmark chimney -- I'm sure it was more elegant than those modern towers which could be anywhere in the world. Sometimes you have to wonder about "progress"! (Same over here and probably everywhere).
