my inner search for tranquility
There is a chimney addition there
Nice before and after.
Glad to find your interesting blog! Thank you for visiting. Aloha friend
...Thomas, I learned years ago to photograph things that interest me, because change!
We've got big unused chimneys that knocked down every once in a while here.
Too bad they couldn't find a way to repurpose that beautiful chimney. Looks like some other structures were knocked down as well.
Nothing is forever, and it's a good practice to take pictures of something right when it interests you. Now, you have an interesting before and after.
Lovely juxtaposed 'before and after' photos ~ Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,A ShutterBug Explores, aka (A Creative Harbor)
great before and after
Quite a sight to see the landscape change so dramatically after that chimney came down. Hope no new development planned for the area.
Too bad about the landmark chimney -- I'm sure it was more elegant than those modern towers which could be anywhere in the world. Sometimes you have to wonder about "progress"! (Same over here and probably everywhere).
