Egyptian Pigeon House

These towering pigeon houses(Dovecote)
are quite a familiar sight here in Egypt where
pigeons are reared for food,droppings as fertilizer
and in the ancient times as a messenger(Homing Pigeons)

    This is so cool! I grew up in New York City where people would keep pigeons on rooftops of apartment buildings, but the coops looked nothing like these.
