Mystery of the Jars

The mystery surounding the thousands of megalithic jars
at the Xieng Khouang Plateau 1070m ASL in Laos
or better know as The Plain of Jars
remains unsolved till today.



The largest of all the jars.

  4. this is very interesting! our ancestors certainly had incredible ways to honor the dead.
    reminds of the hanging coffins and burial caves in the Philippine highlands.

  8. Somehow somethings can never be explained. I love to explore such places and thats what I do when I travel, not so much of looking for food to eat but places of interest.
