Towering high at Tanjung Bungah

The towering condominiums of Tanjung Bungah
viewed from the rocks of Tanjung Tokong,
notice a British World War 2 Pillbox on the rock,
where once a large search light was positioned
to detect invading Japanese forces at night
but it never served the purpose
because by the time they came
British forces were already retreating to Singapore.

Lockdown sky

Skywatch from home here in Malaysia
amid a dreaded CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC
now with a tentative 2 weeks Lockdown to contain it.
   


as a reminder,
Spanish flu right after the World War 1 in 1918 was probably the most deathly pandemic
to hit us (British Malaya then) causing more than 35,000 death,
about 1% of the population then
so do we want a repeat of this?
If not please STAY HOME during the lockdown.
